• Take necessary steps to secure,
reduce or minimise the loss

• Report the loss to the police if necessary
e.g. theft or vandalism claims

• Ensure you have detailed information about how and when the loss occurred

• Provide proof of ownership and/or insurance responsibility for the loss

• Obtain repair and/or replacement quotes
